De-matting is done in time increments, for severe matting that requires more than 30 minutes of time we do two separate appointments - one deep conditioning bath and tidy and then 3-4 weeks later we do the haircut (typically non-shedding breeds).
The comfort and health of the pup is our #1 priority and breaking it down into two sessions is not only better for the dog's coat and skin, but also on their mental and physical health.
Introducing puppies to grooming is vital to their confidence and gets them started on the right foot. Our Puppy Starter Package gets your puppy started on the right paw slowly building confidence with every aspect of grooming. Puppy grooms consist of a conditioning bath, blow dry, brush out, ear cleaning, paw pad trim, foot trim (if applicable), face trim (if applicable), sanitary trim, nail grind, cologne, bandana and lots of cuddles and kisses.
